Join us in the farm kitchen, 4137 State Route 416 SE, New Philadelphia, OH, as we break down a full hog from nose to tail.
Participants in this hands-on class will learn how to excavate their favorite meaty bits from a pig: From bacon, chops and ribs to lesser-known delicacies like trotters and jowls. We will start with one skin-on, gutted hog and by the end of the class each participant will split the spoils of the day's hard work for their home freezers.
Class will run from 9:30 a.m. until around 4:30 p.m. Lunch and a farm tour are included. Don't forget to bring a cooler for each participant (with ice.) We’ll provide the rest. No previous experience or skills are required.
Pay $195 for a single seat in the class or bring a buddy and you'll both get in for $345.
Refund Policy: Tickets are transferable with notice to Six Buckets Farm. No refunds or cancellations issued after Oct. 5. It’s literally life and death for the hog we reserve for this class, so thanks for understanding!
